The Wrath of the Lich King expansion launched about a week ago — well, a week and a day, really — and … nothing much important has happened since. Sure, Blizzard sold 2.8 million boxes in the first 24 hours, which set a new record. And there are server queues and server transfers to talk about, realm firsts and world firsts to celebrate or decry. I was visiting my parents, and my mother was a little grossed out by my dogs licking my face. “There was a guy who got TAPEWORM because he let a dog lick his lips,” she announced. I’ll probably never be able to explain why I was universally hated by my nursing school class. I’ve tried to explain it before, but it makes so little sense to even me, that I give up after awhile. It’s not like I’m a hate-able person (who really thinks they’re hate-able anyway?), quite the opposite, actually.
