Summer is long gone and the cold has set in, with temperature averaging 40s during the day and 20s at night. Not to mention snow shower is also in the forecast for tonight. Brrrrr... I put my backpack and kayak away and bade farewell to my friends. It has been a great summer, thank you, and see you next year, I said. Curious, they asked what I would do during the long winter months. I said nothing much. Probably hibernate. They laughed. Maybe I would learn knitting, knit myself a warm hat.
