The Liberal defence to Harper's Cadman lawsuit is taking shape and it's attacking the draconian nature of the lawsuit itself: "Court documents liken Harper's defamation lawsuit to authoritarian tactics." One of the most respected constitutional academics in the country, Peter Russell, has filed an affidavit on the Liberals' behalf. It is taking this lawsuit in a direction that it sorely needs to go.
