The structural perfection that Walter Hollinger insisted on as a brick mason is evident throughout Bay County. For decades, Hollinger laid brick for almost every imaginable type of building: homes, apartments, banks, churches and hotels, to name a few. He kept working until his early 80s, and on Thursday last week, he passed away, at 89.
