summer is suddenly upon peckham. i can tell because it smells of blue ice lollies and warm dog shit. also, the ice pole season has started and ice pole opening duty is a prerequisite for jolly smalls who otherwise have a tendency toward histrionics when frustrated by unopened packaging. outside play is one of the best bits about summer and i like to encourage outside eating, outside toilet training and outside colouring in. if i thought i could get away with it i'd probably have them sleep out
